How We Met
Online.....yes we met on a dating website. I found him and added him to my favorites. He had said that he wished people could be more romantic, the way they were in the 1930's and 40's. I loved it. Shortly after I added him he messaged me. We started emailing and IMing and from that phone calls. We met two weeks after we started talking. I lived in the Springs at the time, and he came down to visit. We went to Dunkin Donuts and had coffee and then for a walk on a trail I know well at Garden of the Gods. We spent the whole day together and we've been inseperable since.
About Patrick (he wrote his own)
Born and raised in Colorado. My father who was 56 y/o and a holocaust survivor brought me up with the mindset and traditions of a Jewish household. Though my mom left my dad and me when i was about 3 y/o I never felt I missed out on anything that mattered.
I learned about the world at a young age, traveling to Israel to decide of moving out of the US was our next step, it wasn’t and so we continued here in the US.
All through high school my interests in the Military grew. Being a member of my high school swim team and high school reserve officer training corps had a major influence in what branch I was going to join once i graduated from High School. I figured hmm i love to swim and I like the discipline, and travelling when I was younger left me with the only decision, the right decision, and the US navy. I was at the recruiter’s office from the time I was 15 until I swore in.
I got my chance to see the world. Japan was my base, but with various deployments, seeing Australia, Thailand, the middle east and many other countries i learned not to take things for granted and to be happy with what you have.
I know ive made mistakes in my life, but learning from them is what makes it worth it. And through everything i have gone though, the relationships, the difficulties, ive learned that I would not trade any of it because if I didn’t do or experience what I have, i would never be here today where I am, with Carla. And she is my life, my love, my heart, my life.
I currently work as a systems tech and I enjoy my job.

I grew up in central IL. Small towns, where everyone knows who you are and all of your business. I moved to Nashville, TN in 2004. I loved it there, it felt like home. But life changes and I decided to start over out here in Colorado. I moved here in December of 2007 and I've loved every minute of being here. I lived in Colorado Springs, and just moved to the Denver area.
I'm a silly girl and I love to laugh and make other laugh. My heroes are Lucille Ball & Judy Garland. I'm avid movie watcher and quoter. I currently work as an administrative assitant, but am planning to go to school for cosmetology.
I can't wait to marry Patrick, meeting him is the best thing that's ever happened to me.
